Meet The Team 

Khara has been working as a professional makeup artist and licensed hairstylist since 2007. She’s traveled much of the world and in doing that, has had the chance to work in film, television, print, runway, theater, and has done makeup and hair for hundreds of events.  Even past Mrs. Americas and Mrs. Worlds can boast Khara as their hair and/or makeup artist.

Her background is a little all over. When she started college, Khara was an Architectural Engineering major, but somehow ended up with a degree in Communications and the Arts.  But her love?  That’s makeup. Molding appearances, boosting confidence, educating, and making characters… with even a handful of products and a few brushes, the possibilities are as endless as your imagination.

 

She’s been awarded “pro status” by a number of world-renowned cosmetic companies including MAC, Make Up For Ever, Giorgio Armani, Urban Decay, Charlotte Tilbury, and Temptu... to name a few.  Khara’s studies include the works of iconic makeup artists such as Bobbi Brown, Vincent Kehoe, Kevin Aucoin, Eve Pearl and she’s attended classes held by MAC master artists and Mario Dedivanovic, the founder of Makeup by Mario and makeup artist to the Kardashians.   She’s confident in her talent and abilities, but admittedly will never cease to educate herself on the newest and most up-to-date techniques and products.   Her art is her passion and her reviews prove her dedication and love for her job.

Hi all!  This is Alex.  She’s a licensed makeup artist & hairstylist with extensive training in both fields. Her start came from owning a salon but she quickly fell in love with beautifying brides and bridal parties. Alex’s passion for makeup and art started at a very young age, but she didn't have the proper channel to thrive while growing up. It’s been a literal dream for her to be able to beautify brides, glam clients for boudoir sessions, and fine-tune hair and makeup for special occasions.  Alex absolutely adores learning more about her craft and truly enjoys sharing knowledge with her clients.  This sets her apart from peers in the field but her personality is an event day game-changer. 

 

She loves to laugh and interact with her clients and will do whatever it takes to make them feel the most comfortable. Alex believes hair and makeup are very intimate things and she really values being able to combine her love for people with the arts of hairstyling and makeup.  She takes immense pride in providing connected communication with clients through the whole process to ensure beauty success.
